Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone's husband, Andre Levrone, recently revealed the athlete's sleeping pattern. After having started dating in 2020, McLaughlin-Levrone and the former football player got engaged in August 2021, followed by their wedding in May 2022 at Early Mountain Vineyards in Madison, Virginia.
So far McLaughlin-Levrone has had a remarkable career, securing four Olympic medals. In a recent interview with Life, Books, and Everything with DeYoung, the American athlete opened up on her life as an elite athlete. She emphasized the significance of having a nutritious diet.
"Definitely try to stick to eating pretty clean and healthy making sure you have enough protein all the vegetables and all those different things," McLaughlin-Levrone said.
The multiple-time Olympian then asked her husband to chime about her sleep and recovery protocol. The athlete's husband highlighted her sleeping pattern as an essential part of her recovery and performance.
"She is a sleep enthusiast," he said. "It's very friendly to her occupation. So I think Sydney has definitely helped me with my sleep regulation and I think I've had the privilege to help her with her diet and some of her recovery protocol having been someone who's been injured many times in his career." "I think for Sydney she's seen a tremendous jump in her performance when she's had those two things coinciding on a consistent basis."

Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone's husband reflected on the initial conversation he had with the athlete, where she admitted she wasn't acquainted with him. Having known the Olympian through a mutual friend, Levrone approached her hoping she would be familiar with him.
"I DMed her yes I did during Covid," he said.
The hurdler admitted to having replied to his text after having checked his Instagram profile.
"I was going through his pictures and just you know some of his videos and captions of sharing the gospel on his page and I think that's definitely what caught my attention more than anything else and so I was like hmm interesting I think I'll see where this goes."
However, when the former football player initiated the conversation, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone admitted she wasn't acquainted.
"When I reached out to Sydney she was like 'I've actually never heard of you.' I did think that she was warming the call up but it was still a cold call," he added. (18:40 onwards)
